researching planets

today we had to research two planets i chose Pluto and Uranus. 

this week we had to make a poster explaining the text ( *link* Galileo Galilei)  i really like this text because it is really easy to read and its VERY interesting. in the story it tells you about what he did for life when he was born and i think when he dyed. my poster shows/says  when he found out about the spyglass he wanted to build something better so he built a telescope and was the first to look at the moon though a telescope, where is from and when he went to uni, and what he believed. my favourite part of doing the poster was probably  doing the writing and explaining the text.

have you ever read the book/text Galileo galilei? do you think i could have done anything better?

today we had to make a telescope ether by hand or online  i chose to do it online by google drawing i used the shapes and the drawing tool, my favourite part of this task was trying to recreate the telescope at first i thought it was going to be really hard but it turned out to be really simple.

Isabel lives in Havana, Cuba she has brown short hair pulled back behind her ears, brown face with freckles but i could not put freckles because it was a lot trickier  then you think , bear foot like always and she is 11 years old . who is your favorite character in the book Refugee?

THIS TERM HUIA WHANAU HAVE BEEN READING A BOOK ABOUT REFUGEE   BY ALAN GRATZ. TODAY I MADE A POSTER  ABOUT GERMANY OUR TEACHER MISS FLEET PUT IT ON OUR CLASS SITE IN AN AUDIO BOOK OR JUST AN  NORMAL ONLINE READING  BOOK BECAUSE OF THE CORONA VIRUS WE HAVE TO DO OUR WORK ONLINE AND POST IT TO OUR BLOG, EVERY DAY WE HAVE TO LISTEN OR READ A CHAPTER OF THE BOOK (REFUGEE). I READ THE FIRST CHAPTER TODAY AND IT WAS ABOUT A BOY NAMED  JOSEF HE WAS FROM GERMANY. WE HAD A CHOSE TO MAKE A VIDEO , SLIDE SHOW OR A POSTER I CHOSE THE POSTER BECAUSE  IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT FASTER AND A LOT EASIER TO DO. DID YOU KNOW ONLY ONE THIRD OF GERMANY IS STILL COVERED  IN WOODLANDS AND FOREST THERE ARE ALSO ABOUT 21,00 CASTLES IN GERMANY.

Respect  to me is using polite langue like thank-you and no thank-you  when talking to somebody.  listening to what they have to say, its also not hitting or punching people. not talking over the teacher or  answering back because the have taken time out of there day to help you with your learning or to take care of you .  help people when needed  like when they have fallen  over and hurt them self and asking  if they need help to carry something that they can't and when at a friends house greeting there family introducing your self and taking off your shoes at the door.

My hobby is surfing because when i was little my cousin loved to surf.So she thought me how to surf and gave me her surf board to keep, ever since then i have loved to surf. I first learnt to surf at 8 years old, The first time i went surfing i kept falling over and failing.

Last Thursday we had tech at the  kaitaia intermediate school. There is, food tech. wood work, and this coding thing. i am in food tech with Mrs Duflu. On the first day we made corn fritter's we go to tech on the bus at 12:00 and finish at  2:00, My favourite is wood work

the 39-story tree house
I recommend this book to people that don't like reading long books and that like inventing. The main characters are Terry,Andy, and Jill Andy and terry live together in the 39 storey tree house and Jill on the other side of the forest she lives in a house with a bunch of animals in one part of the storey it tells you about this man the un-invents thing and had un-invent the whole world.

on wensdaywhere we had a water balloon we had to pass the balloon in a circle and every-time someone curt it you had to step out and the last one to drop it ( the balloon )won. my team was imogen Ari Foy jack and my self

my team was the first one to get out it got a bit harder every-time we had to step out.

walt: working together as a team

 yesterday we had team building we all had to work together to build a the tallest tower out of a bag of marshmallows, skewer and a time of 20mins. my team was eva,arie ,ella,imogen,and myself. we won with the biggest tower. It was really hard because it was not strong enough and kept falling over.

yesterday we had to make a tower out of cups without touching  the cups and the team that made the biggest tower wins you had 20 cups, one rubber band, a peace of string.                           first you had to work with a mix of people and see how well you do then we had a try with our friends. most people worked better with their friends then with a group of people in our class.
